Unused Park Hoppers....

I have 3 old parker hoppertickets each with one day left on them. What, if anything, can I do with them? Can I get a refund on the unused days? Use them as a credit toward something else?

We now get AP's so I don't need the tickets at all anymore. It seems like such a shame that the money will go to waste.

The residual value of unused days on passes can be applied to a purchase of new passes.

So since I already bought my AP, I will have to wait until NEXT year to use it.

Maybe I will try selling the days on Ebay.

What would you sell them for? I haven't bought my tickets yet. When do they expire? I am going down in March.

I have no idea what I would sell them for.....I don't even know what a fare value would be. I think that I am going to take them with me in October. Verify the # of days on each ticket and then try to sell them. If you would like, I can PM you once I know for certain......

Best: They should be saved for a time you are going down for exactly 1, 2, 3, 11, or 12 days in the parks and you do not have an active annual pass.

Another reasonable but uncommon situation: Use it for the one and only day you need to park hop when you buy a non-hopping ticket for the rest of your vacation of any length.

The best tradeup available: If you really wanted a 10 day non-expiring pass anyway.

One old pass may be traded up towards one new pass, the exchange rate is not all that good.

Worst usage, and quite abominable: Use as-is during a vacation of 5 to 10 days and you need to buy another hopping ticket for the other days.

My DD, was 3 at the time of our last trip and has 3 days left on her old park hopper pass. Our next trip will be for 2 weeks and I want to get the MYW 10-day passes. I'm not adding on the non-expire until the end of our trip, if we have days left. I don't want to pay for that feature incase we do use all the days.

Should I use her old days towards a 10 day for her? If I get her just a 10 day pass for next time and don't do anything with the old ticket, I'll be stuck with them once again and probably have the same dilema for next visit.

Also, can you purchase tickets at your resort while checking in and have them put on a room key? Would they also give me credit for the old tickets for the upgrade on hers?

I am in the same boat. But I really don't think using them to upgrade to a better ticket is the wisest option. I have tickets with 1-day left on them. The difference between buying a 5-day or using my old tickets to upgrade to a 6-day (for example) is only a couple of dollars difference. That would make my old tickets with 1-day on them only worth $2-$3 each??? I don't think so!! Unless I'm missing something here??

Say a 5 day is 150.00 and a 6 day is 153.00.

If you purchased a 5 day, would they give you like 30.00 credit towards the new pass. Making the 5 day pass only $123.00 by turning in your old pass with a day on them.

Now if you had 2 days left (assuming they give you a credit for 30.00/day as an example) it would make the 5 day pass even cheaper.

I'm not sure how it works. I have 3 days left on my daughters, but we all want to get a 10 day pass. It wouldn't make sense for me to get her a 7 day pass as a 10 day is only a couple of dollars more as well. I didn't know how much credit they would give us for her 3 days towards a 10 day pass.

I am going to WDW for three nights at the beginning of August. We plan to go to the park for one day. I would give you 40 for each pass.
