Unused Disney World NonExpiration Tickets

Curious how you guys have STACKS of these 10day tickets. We still have 4; one of each family member dating back to 2000s.

Each time we go we spend 4+ days in a week; so cheaper to do length of stay tickets. Probably in the future when spread out parks with longer stays.

So when 10 days were available and before we were DVC members, we usually went to Orlando/Disney once a year. Depending on our plans, we would go to the parks maybe 3-5 days. It was cheaper to get the 10 day non expiring tickets, so we would use them for 1 or 2 trips. But once they had less than 5 days on them, we generally just bought a new one. Then we had those "random" number of park day tickets if we were only going to a park for a single day. Some of tickets were even before the biometrics were used on regular tickets and now that they have been converted to the new style ticket the biometrics have also been reset.

Since 1 or 2 day tickets have always been the most expensive, we save them to use that way. I believe we even used some at Disneyland (we had to go to guest services to have them converted). But, with all the price increases since our original purchase, they are like gold!!! Our cost per day was very very minimal. AND a lot of them had waterparks and more or fun options which gave you mini golf, the old disney quest, etc. All of those options are also still available (they usually gave you 10 options with a 10 day ticket). They don't show in MDE, but they are on there and available, although the options do change like with DisneyQuest being gone I think they gave us one of the golf courses, etc.

I have a related but somewhat different question:

My sister bought a 7 day park hopper and more (water parks) ticket in 2016, but had to cancel. We know the ticket will still be honoured if she goes within a certain range of years (I forget, it might be by 2026 or 2031)… she’s thinking of going next fall.

Here‘s the Q:
Will the ticket expire in the fourteen day range that was the Magic Your Way standard (ie once you used it at your first park),
OR
will it expire in eleven days which is the current standard?

(I’ve been wondering & figured I’d call WDW in a few months, but perhaps the Disboards can answer!)
….. now if you bought the same ticket it expires in eleven days.

We used one of these exact same tickets a year ago and it had a 14 day range.

I noticed this thread and I kind of agree. I felt like on our recent trip I was forced to go to a park I did not want to because reservations for the park I wanted were full. That most certainly was not the deal when I bought the tickets. I then had to hop to where I wanted to be. I also would normally hop three times but with 2pm that's a problem. And does not work. And I use 10 day PH no expiration for 1 or 2 day trips because they were supposed to give me more than what I get. So yah. I feel like I'm not getting what I paid for. Problem is that class for this class action is very very small. Unfortunately and disney could care less about us too. Like REALLY care less about us.
