My little sister was really excited that I now like HSM! :rotfl2: She said: "I heard that Zac and Vanessa had a huge fight" and I said: "Where did you hear that??" and she said: "People Magazine" :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: I guess she grabbed hold of my mom's copy of People magazine and saw it!! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Awww, I love hearing that, especially with little girls! That's around the age that girls start to lose their educational 'edge' over boys, and some experts theorize it's because they try to "dumb down" to be more attractive to boys. I think it has more to do with a lack of confidence in general, so I love it when I see a young girl excel academically, especially in math and the sciences, that's awesome!

I think all kids, but especially girls, should be encouraged to go as far as they can in math and science. I wish I had done more earlier, then college wouldn't have been so hard to catch up in math!

That's what I found cool about her...she doesn't act like most girls at her old school who were into boys and were in a hurry to grow up. She LOVES being a kid, which is a really good thing. My youngest cousin (she's 12 or 13 years old) was in a rush to grow up, ever since she was small. She wanted to do everything her 2 older sisters did. The thing is, I noticed that she grew up too fast and she didn't take the time to enjoy her childhood. I'm glad my sister isn't like that.

has anyone done the goofy's kitchen character breakfast ? are there alot of characters there?
Spongie!!! How are you, girl? Long time no see!!!

Yes, we did GK, and it's awesome! TONS of characters, we saw 7, compared to I think 5 at Lilo & Stitch. The line-up varies a lot, though I think it always includes Pluto at the door, and Goofy inside. I think Minnie is a regular, too. The other characters vary. We also saw Snow White, Cinderella, Chip, and Belle (in her blue 'peasant' dress.)

Hey spongemommie!! :yay: I've never had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, but I've had the dinner buffet a few times. I've had breakfast at the Minnie's character breakfast two times.

I like to pin trade with CM's. It's much more fun and more calm then trading with most guests in the park. I've had one lady who grabbed my lanyard and said: "I want this!" I said: "I'm sorry but I'm not trading these!" and grabbed the lanyard from out of her hand (I was wearing it). One guy offered $50 for my pins and I said: "No, sorry!" :scared1:

Oops! Correction to read that we've done DINNER at GK, not breakfast. And I did notice when I was doing laundry a day or two later that there were totally different characters there from when we had dinner, so I think they change the line-up often.

Hey, Spongie! I think you are going around the same time as Lynn and Andrea! You should meet up with them if you can!

I did have cool guest encounters when trading pin with them. One lady was looking for a pin of herbie the love bug. I happend to have an extra one of Mickey & Goofy riding inside Herbie (it was a gift with purchase pin). I gave it to her and she gave me whatever pin she wanted (I think it was Pooh) and she was all :"OMG!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I LOVE HERBIE!!! YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!!" She said she loves to collect VW Bug stuff and I thought it was awesome to see her so happy! :goodvibes

a meet up that would be fun.. my 2 yr old is downstairs crying his head off .. and my dog is clearing the kitchen with her gas (i think she is dead) so i am gonna go for the night plus dh just pulled in .. good night all
