Unsure On Reception Venue

Happy new year.
Ok we are now really unsure as to our reception location which we have a contract for Ariels.

DF is not keen on all the fish around and since we are not having an under the sea thme and our colours are silver and pink I'm now worried about it!!

Where else would you recommend, Living seas has cropped up but are not sure that will be free now,

Can you have a plated dinner at living seas or still buffet?

i think you can have plated at lss though i'm having a buffet...a question though, if he doesn't like the fish in ariel's, is he going to like the aquarium at lss? if the fish and colors are your concern, i think it'll be the same for lss. how about napa grill? or adh?

Well the fish are only in the tank at lss arent they?? Whereas ariels the thing that got him was the ones from the lights and the carpet!

From pix, it doesn't seem like the fish theme is that strong at Ariel's, and I've seen plenty of receptions there that had themes that had nothing to do with fish! I think pink and silver would look lovely in that room!

But if you really want to switch... can you fit in the Attic? It's 50 ppl max, and it's gorgeous! Or how about American Adventure Parlour - no fish there, and pastel colors too!

you can have plated at the LS. I agree the fish theme at Ariels doesn't seem that heavy. At the LS there are some fish decor elements...there is a fake underwater window with rocks and sand. there are 2 huge dark looking fish on the walls. I loved the venue and did not have an under the sea theme as many brides don't.
I agree with the previous poster...the colors in the LS can be tricky is all. Greens and blues.and golds don't always make people love it.

I am a huge fan of it for obvious reasons but just my thoughts.

Oooh! I love the patio! And the monorail goes right by! I'm not as crazy about the interior cuz it looks kinda convention-center-y to me, but I have to admit, I've seen some gorgeous pictures taken there. Plus, NO fish!

I think it could be a really good alternative for you guys!

I am having my pre reception at the whitehall room and patio. From the patio you can see the castle! It's not the best view, but you can atleast see it! I think it is great!!! I LOVE it!!!
