I never here of anyone using these on here. I've found them useful. Are they something we shouldn't talk about?

I think there are several threads that mention Unofficial Guide and the Lines App. I personally think the Unofficial Guide is the best Disney Guide book out there. I have also used the lines app and touring plans in the past. I found them useful. With the recent FP+ changes, I'm not sure how well the App and site is keeping up.

I've been a TP.com subscriber since 06. I love it and the Lines app. The personalized touring plan software and optimize feature are well worth the annual subscription by themselves. But if it turns out not to be your thing, they have a 45-day money back guarantee.

I buy the book every year we go and follow the touring plans and I think they work pretty well. It will be interesting to see how the Fastpass+ system gets factored in

EasyWDW.com is by far the best in my opinion. He walks around the parks literally like every day!

I love Touring Plans and the Unofficial guide. I used the information all 3 times I've been to WDW. The last time we were there with a large family group. Everyone would be complaining about how crowded the park they were in was and how long all the lines were. Meanwhile, we hadn't seen lines all day and rode everything we wanted as much as we wanted all trip. Knowing which park to go to on which day was crucial. Great book, great plans. Didn't use the app. Maybe next time.

If you buy the book - do you get a discount to the touring plans? Or is use of the website included in the purchase of the book?

You get a discount. I believe that in order to get it, you have to answer questions about what appears on certain pages of the current book.

I'm a big fan of both TP and the Lines app, and used them at both WDW and DLR. I found that Lines is far more accurate than the MDE app, or even the posted times. And it's strangely fun to submit your times!

Our first trip to WDW in 1992, a friend gave us a copy of The Unofficial Guide. We only went a couple days to MK but got hooked on the book. It's multiplied in size over the years! Just bought The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland for our first DL trip this year. Lots of great info!

you could get the book from your library and get the discount codes for Lines and Touring Plans, if you think that's ethical. But I like having my own copy because I rip out the touring plans in the back. We went Feb break twice when it was mobbed. The touring plans made it much more pleasant.

Well, I went ahead and purchased TP on-line. I noticed he has predictions for December (even though the MK hours aren't out yet) and easywdw doesn't have his out yet. We'll see how it works! I am particularly interested in seeing how the lines app works out.
