Unofficial Dining Guide 2008 by Kevin Yee?

Does anyone know if Kevin Yee is doing another one of these for 2008 and when it wil be available.
Also do the restaurant menus change all at the same time and is it at certain times of the year?

I just happen to know the answer to this question

Prices tend to change on Oct. 1 around WDW (though of course, minor changes occur through the year at various places, usually at a low level).

That means October and November is a very busy time for me. I print new copies of the book right after that. Well, that's what happened last year. And then I learned that many of the non-Disney restaurants (especially Downtown Disney and Epcot lessees) updated on December 1. So it's possible I won't print until after those changes are made, meaning the 2008 version of the book won't be available until early January 2008.

That said, the book currently for sale is actually version 2007c (it was most recently updated and printed in mid July 2007). I only print small quantities so I can update it constantly.

The 2008 version may be worth waiting for. It will have complete menus and prices for Universal-Orlando and IOA, and it will list all the restaurants on International Drive too.

I'm toying with altering the format in WDW, too. For sit-down restaurants, I may discontinue listing the appetizers and desserts, and only focus on the main courses. With all that extra space, I am considering adding complete dish descriptions and details.

You know Mr. Yee and please do not take offense to this, but I've never heard of your book before but would have loved to have bought a copy while planning my current trip. I'll be going back in Sept. 2008 again and will look forward to picking up a copy of your '08 book when it's published next year!

Hi Kevin

Many thanks for posting. I love your 2007 book! Its been great for trip planning, so useful, particularly for childrens meals on DDP. The universal section would be good too. I'm trying to copy the relevant parks for each day so I don't have to carry the whole book with me each time!
Our trip is booked for April 2008 so hopefully I'll have time to get the 2008 one. I'm based in the UK so I will have to find someone to ship it promptly.
If you remember please could you post any news about the 2008 book on here.
I'm looking forward to my copy already! Its so much fun reading about all the great foods on offer!

Amazon has the book (sorry, I can't link to it here directly - rules of the board).

It's a tough call about the desserts and appetizers. Keeping them really does mean I can't provide full-sentence descriptions of the entrees. Unless I somehow went onto a second page for such restaurants, but that would push the book to almost 400 pages, and I'd have to raise the price of the book to compensate. I'll think about it some more
