Unlimited "Coke" Islands??

We did 4/nite Magic cruise in 99 and I'm planning 10/2003 cruise.
Can anyone help me on a few questions about changes?

1) Unlimited soda at "Coke Islands"? (One by the pool area) I read about the refillable mugs $35!! That can't be right, can it? Are Coke products still the only pop you can get?

2) Snorkeling gear for rent for $25? (I'm fuzzy on this but I thought the mask/tube, flippers, & float vest were for free on CC?)

Not sure what you mean by "Coke Islands".

Yes, the refillable mug is priced at $5 times the number of days on your cruise. So the mug is priced at $15 for the 3-day cruise, $20 for the 4-day cruise, and $35 for the 7-day cruise regardless of which day you buy it.

Yes, Coca-Cola is the exclusive provider of soft drinks for Disney Cruise Line.

Yes, snorkel gear is rented for $25 at Castaway Cay. The exception is the vest that is required even if you bring your own snorkel gear. There is no charge for the vest.

I remember a round station where you could get self-serve drinks.
I thought it was all Coca-Cola(Coke) products & cups. I thought they referred to them as "Coke Islands" or maybe it was the "Drink Island" There was one close to the pool area. Did they do away with this? Maybe, there was alot wasted? No problem with me, I love my WL Mug!! I would love a Wonder Mug!!

We will bring our own snorkeling gear!! Sam's had a really nice set for around $25-30 this past summer!

Ethelina, I think you're referring to the ice water/milk/coffee/lemonade station on Deck 9. There is no soda there.

The only place to get the mugs refilled is at any of the bars on the ship or on Castaway Cay.
