We are going to Disney World next year and are deciding whether or not to do Universal also. My kids will be 10(i'm sure he would love it) 7, 5, and 3. I was just wondering if there is alot for the little ones, or if I should get another Disney Day. Thanks

I'd say 'go for' a Universal day :thumbsup2

We first took DD when she was 3 and she loved it.
Just remember to take a towel and a change of clothes if they like water as the water features in both parks are great fun ;)

There's Dr Sseuss and the Super Heroes to name but two great things and, also, Curious George

Go!

Universal has Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, Twister, Beetlejuice(sp), Earth Quake, MiB and ET that should be accessible to all of your children. For the younger ones there is a great play area, a Barney show and Animal Planet - for the more adventurous there is Jaws (if it's running), Back to the Future, The Mummy and my personal favourite, Terminator.

As for Islands of Adventure, personally I think this is a park for older children. Sure there are rides for smaller kids in the Dr Suess area but this park has bigger, faster rides that your 5 & 3 year olds wouldn't be able to go on. I'm not saying 'don't visit IOA' just check out what they have to offer before going.

As Alison says - take a change of clothes as there are opportunites in both parks for your kids to get very wet!

Thank You I do think we'll get a pass for Universal.
My little one loves Barney, and my 5 year old loves curious George.

We went back in Feb with our DD, who was 21 months at the time. She LOVED it. She ADORES Dora the Explorer....and when she met Dora she was just in kid heaven. Plus, we met Barney and she loved loved loved the Barney show and play area. Then there is Curious George land where you can get wet....even soaked! And Feivel's playland. She even liked The ET ride. There is PLENTY for young kids there. In fact, we are going back in a few weeks....she will be 25 months then.

we took our kids (6, 5, and 2) at the time and they loved US/IOA. THe boy (2) really loved the FLying Unicorn roller coaster (height 36 inches to ride) we rode it over and over and over again (12 times in a row thanks to FOTL access)

I think they like US/IOA better than WDW, but I refuse to listen.
