Universal / Wet & Wild Ticket Question

I've searched, I've read the fine print but still don't quite grasp it. They offer a four day ticket that includes Wet & Wild. Reading it carefully, it states that the Wet & Wild portion expires when the US/IA expires.

I'm trying to cover 5 days here... Would we be able to go to Universal Studios for 2 days, Islands of Adventure for 1 day and then Wet & Wild for 1 day on this ticket?

Came up with a better plan after going to your link. The length of stay (14 day) Wet & Wild passes, then purchase the Universal Orlando APs for $199 each (plus tax).

Just watch the blackout dates.

Would the 3 Park Unlimited Pass for $188 make more sense? I'm now looking at this instead of getting the 4 day park to park from Universal's site, so that we have the option of spending a bit of time at Wet N Wild. Only thing is we then wouldn't get the coupon book Universal offers - any idea if the current coupon book is actually worth getting?

Yeah, I'm in interested in any news about the coupon book too. Generally, we never use the coupons we get when we visited Las Vegas and other smaller venues. I hope there are some useful coupons inside this Universal book. But if not, o well, we're still going! :)

have not seen the coupon booklet for this year.
if they are similar to years past, it's a toss up if it is worth it.

some past ones had buy an entree, receive a child's meal free from selected list. (city walk)

discount on the Kitchen for select times.

those type of discounts from past year's coupon booklet.

I'm sure this has been askred and answered elsewhere, but could one of you Universal Orlando experts please explain to this rookie exactly what the " 3 park unlimited" ticket is?? Thanks.

The three park unlimited allows you access at IOA, Universal and Wet 'n Wild for any days during a 14 day period. You can do how many parks you want each day and you can do them as many times as you want for those 14 days. I believe you only have to pay to park once each day.

So 14 days unlimited admission to those three parks.

Black out dates won't be an issue for us. We never come in the summer and don't want to go at Christmas so we are good on those. Annual pass is $199 and the three park unlimited passes are $190/$180. The AP's are just a better deal because we can hit the place again within the year. I might do:

(1) Adult Preferred Pass $280 (Preferred to get parking / discounts for future)
(2) Power Pass $200 each
-----------------------------------
Sub Total $680 ($730 with tax)

(3) Length of Stay Wet & Wild $46/$41
-----------------------------------
Sub Total $133 (including tax)

___________________________
Grand Total $863 (including tax)

That still leaves us with the AP's for a couple more fun trips.

I think that purchase plan is perfect! I've thought about purchasing aps in just the same way! :)
