The only thing bad is it will drive up prices. If they get too big with hotels I hope Express does not go away. I think they should add Express to only all onsite hotels no purchased.

Not sure how I feel about this...The thing is, they can't add new hotels ,offer express pass and keep it functioning like it does.Unless they would eliminate selling it at all, which could work OR keep it like it is ...sell some and limit the resort perk to just the 3 deluxe properties.

Orlando United has listed a bunch of ideas that have been tossed around with Universal Creative for the next 10 years, including a 3rd gate. It is very interesting!!!


I can't see them adding express to the new hotels. The hotels along Major Blvd. seem to have high occupancy, so I don't see why value resorts onsite wouldn't be the same .... both without having express access. I can see them keeping the early admission for the onsite hotels but taking it away from all their partner hotels.

That's exactly what I think they'll do - limit the Unlimited Express to the deluxe on-site properties. It sounds like they're looking at building more resorts along the lines of Cabana Bay. (As far as I'm concerned, staying on-site with Unlimited Express is the ONLY way to go!! I've never done Disney, and I'm honestly afraid that when I finally do take my kids there, I'm going to be so spoiled by Uni that I'm going to be underwhelmed by the Disney experience!!)

Well Cabana Bay will not have unlimited express so that will be limited to the three deluxe hotels.On top of wanting to add rooms I also heard on another site that they would still like an on site waterpark which there is room for now and given that they just bought the land Wet n Wild sits on I have to wonder if there's a way to buy some more land around Wet n Wild for it to become the resorts third theme park.To want to increase to 15,000 rooms you have to also add another major park to keep that amount of rooms full.
