Express Pass in late September, necessary or not? Please advise.

Probably not. October is busy again with special Hallowe'en activities, but September is pretty empty.

I'd vote no for any season, but especially not September. I think Express is a waste, but Universal is genius for charging for it.

If you go and think its too crowded, buy the passes that day at the park.

It is always nice to stay onsite. There are some excellent deals on rooms in the off season.

The problem is, once you get used to FOTL...even 10 minutes in a line seems too long.

This is one reason we usually do WDW first, then Universal.

This year, however, we're going to US/IOA first, and then Disney...I hope I'm not too spoiled!
