Hi everyone :)

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best place to buy park tickets for Universal? Going to Disney in August (family of four) but want at least a couple of days over at Universal.

Anyone know of any good deals or ways of saving a bit of money on them or am I best of going direct to Universal website? Will be asking our travel company. It want to have some comparisons and not make do with accepting the first deal offered!!

Appreciate your help!!:)

We actually opted for the Harry Potter package - it was a bit more, but it comes with two breakfasts (in the Leaky Cauldron and the Three Broomsticks) and they'll be shipping the welcome package with a stuffed owl direct to our home (in Canada, no less!). My daughter's going to melt down when it gets here.

But the online discounts at Universal's site were pretty good from what I could see.

I bought a 4 day park to park ticket for DBF from last minute travel club for 185. They let you print at home a "voucher" but the barcode on it scans at the gates and is your ticket. No exchanging needed. The 3 day park to park was 164.

Sorry to muscle in on this thread but is it usual that this site is only allowing me to purchase one ticket??:confused3

I don't think that is usual. Other people have reported purchasing multiple. It may be that is all they have left.

because Undercover Tourist is a respected [place to purchase tickets. we have a few times. no problems. they are featured on Mousesavers.com

Where did you get harry potter package tickets?

Many people on the DIS buy from undercover tourist. Most people who frequently post on the DIS recommend undercover tourist. In fact, if you subscribe to mousesavers then you can get a special link to an even better priced ticket thru undercover tourist.

I would say yes, undercover tourist is as reputable as the UO website.

More respected than Universal?

respected enough..I have used them for years for both Disney and Universal, never had an issue and they are real tickets too..Why pay full price on something if you can get it cheaper:confused3
When universal jacked up its prices a few months back, Undercovertourist was still selling the tickets at the old prices for a couple of weeks..I was able to save quite a bit of money compared to what I would have paid at Universalorlando.com

Here's the current pricing from both websites for park to park tickets:

1 day
UT - $140.29
Universal - $136.00

2 day
UT - $177.99
Universal - $175.99

3 day
UT - $189.07
Universal - $185.99

4 day
UT - $203.71
Universal - $195.99

Not trying to be difficult, but the OP asked a question, and given that it is cheaper to buy directly from Universal's website than Undercover Tourist, it seems like a no brainer to me.

Are you sure about that? Here's the current pricing from both websites for park to park tickets: 1 day UT - $140.29 Universal - $136.00 2 day UT - $177.99 Universal - $175.99 3 day UT - $189.07 Universal - $185.99 4 day UT - $203.71 Universal - $195.99

I could be wrong but I think the Universal prices do not include tax, UT price includes tax and shipping
