Universal ticket upgrade?

Are US/IOA tickets upgradeable at the ticket window? My husband is thinking he will skip the morning at IoA with us and just meet us at US later in the day. If I just buy himthe one park ticket and he decides to roll out of bed and join us at IoA can I upgrade it to a Park to Park or will I have to pay full price for a new ticket.

You can upgrade it no problem.
