I am going to Universal next Friday (Jersey Week) with my 3 kids 16, 15, & 11 for the first time but our second trip to Florida. I will be driving down from Jersey Friday and hopefully be getting there early enough Saturday to go to the parks. I am getting the ticket promotion where I buy the ticket for $85 and go to Universal for a week. If I go Saturday do I have to renew my somewhere so I can get in Sunday and do the same thing each day to get in like Seaworld? I also don't get why does Universal close at 6 pm? Why so early? I remember in WDW it seemed like we stayed so much later so why does Universal close at 6 pm? Is it always like this or the theme parks down there close eariler according to the season or something? My last question is even though The Nick Studios is closed can we still go walk by it and look & take pictures of if there is still anything there, is there anything there?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Thanx for all the help!!! :wave2:

once you activate your pass, there's no need for renewal. it works like a Flexticket. it is off-season, so the parks do close down earlier than usual. what used to be Nick Studios is gone. when you exit Jimmy Neutron, there is a Spongebob photo op that has a few props from what used to be filmed there.

the big Nick shows shut down production over ten years ago.

I know that Nick closed but what I meant was if I ride the Jimmy Neutron ride and exit and start walking towards what use to be NIck Studios am I allowed to be around that area (the outside of the old Nick Studios Building) or is that section closed off? I know that you can't go inside and stuff anymore but am I allowed to walk around the outside of the buliding and take pictures and look around at what use to be there since I never even go to visit it before. OR doing this is a waste? Is there anything on the outside of the building to look at like the orange Nick Sign on the Front? Other than that Thanx for park info help! :wave2:

you can walk down Production Central, it's still open to the Hard Rock. all of the signage is gone.

Oh, so the old Nick studios building is like a plain building now? Well that stinks, I don't even get to see the old stuff lol. Well, I will check it out when I go there and see whats there but I hope I am not disappointed and that my trip turns out great :)! You said that its still open to the Hard Rock, do you mean I have to go through the Hard Rock to get to the Production Central area or I get to that in the Park? I know I might sound alittle funny right now but I am not to sure what I am talking about since I never been, so I am kinda confused lol.

No, there is a back entrance into the Hard Rock in that area, and is still open.
