Universal ticket prices, cheaper at Costco or Mousesavers?

Does anyone know or is there a way to check if the Costco tickets are available in KC Costco's? There isn't a Costco where I live, and the closest one is in KC, but not sure if they even have them there. Theyr'e not available online, correct? Thanks! :goodvibes

I just called a bunch of them in Indiana and asked. You could try that. None of the Indiana Costcos had them.

Checked one of our local Costco's this weekend. I"m guessing because we're closer to Universal Hollywood, our Costco sells those tickets and not the Universal Orlando tickets. :sad2:

The Overland Park, KS Costco had them when I called last week. However, they told me the exp date was 12/2013. I'm not totally convinced that's correct. Since you're in the area, I'd check it out.

I live in Georgia, so the Costcos here has them.

But I've always wanted to ask this for those Costco members that doesn't live in states near Florida: Why don't you just drive to US/IOA and pick up the tickets at a nearer Costco on the way down?

I mean, I live in Kennesaw. The Costco that I frequent is less than a block from Interstate 75. For a lot of folks, I-75 is how you get to Orlando. Why not just drive over, pick up the tickets and keep moving?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I've used Costco in other places in the country. My membership was still valid.:confused3

That's what I would like to do. We are heading down in July from Indiana. Guess I'm just worried that if I get there and they are out then I'll have to pay full price at the parks.

Also, as a member, are you aware that they do 1 day passes? I'm not a member as there are no Costcos near me.

Lots of Costcos don't carry them or run out of them.

My local Costco's in Maryland have them (exp. Dec. 2015) but I also worried that they would run out or that they would stop carrying them so I went yesterday and bought ours for August. I figured I'd also hedge off any price increases too by buying them now. We're planning to use 2 days this summer and will save the 3rd day for another trip. (We're DVC so we usuallly go down 2 or 3 times / year so the Costco deal is a great price for us.)

For anybody who can't find them in your town I would call the Costco in Orlando and ask if they have them and just buy them when I got to FL.

Florida Costcos don't seem to carry them.

Also, not everyone going to Orlando will be driving there. I'd say the majority of people fly. So stopping at a Costco on the way isn't an option. We will be driving this trip, but it's not until Sept. As others have said, I'm worried these tkts might not be there when we are.....or the price has increased. I'd rather find them, and buy them now.

Not sure if this is appropriate, but would anyone that lives close to a Costco and goes there regularly, consider purchasing some of these tickets for me? I could paypal you the funds first, to be safe for both of us. I'd include some extra money for your trouble as this is worth it to me to split up the cost over two trips.
If this isn't appropriate for this site, that's fine.

Thanks

Has anyone used their Costco tickets for another visit outside the initial 14 day period?

My friend is interested in purchasing Costco Universal Studios 3 day tickets, but someone at Costco told her the tickets expire after 14 days of 1st use. She called Universal Studios ticketing and was told the same and that the tickets expired December 2013!

Anyone have any issues with these tickets?

Yes, I have. Bought them in 2010, used one day in 2010, used another day in 2011, and plan on using the last one in July.
