Universal Studios to SeaWorld Transportation

I am so surprised this is proving to be complicated... thought it'd be a slam dunk easy one!

We are staying at the RPH and spending 2 days at Universal/IOA. One evening we've got tickets to go over to SeaWorld for their Luau (unfortunately the luau at RPH won't be happening during our scheduled days there).

Any advice on how I'd get my family of 5 from either RPH or Universal/City Walk to SeaWorld?

The trolley doesn't seem to stop anywhere near Universal - which is plain crazy. There is a shuttle from the hotel to SeaWorld but it only leaves in the morning and returns in the evening.

I think a taxi may be the only option for your situation.

a cab might be the only way but do call the hotel direct and ask them if they provide any night transportation to the lual at sw.

ask to speak to the front end manager on duty.
don't ask to the tm at the desk.

Yep. We just took a cab as the free shuttle did not have convenient times. Taxi will be about $20 if not too much traffic and you simply walk out the entrance of RPR and ask for a taxi.
