We will be going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure Orlando for the first time the second week of January. :cool1:

What is a good touring plan for each of the parks? We will be spending one full day at each park.

Hey Welcome!

I'm not certain as I've never been to either park. You might have better luck with responses if you move over to the Universal boards. Go back to the main page at disboards.com and scroll further down and you'll find an entire section on Universal Studios. Right now you're in the Walt Disney World section of the message board.

I've moved this to the Universal Studios board. Hopefully somewhere here can give you some good advice. :)

You really don't need a touring plan for Universal. Both parks are walking distance to each other. Just pick which park you want to try first and hit it as early as you can. I doubt you will need Express passes for that time of year but if you find the lines are getting longer than you'd like, you can always purchase them at either park.

Thanks for the tip. What are the most popular attractions i.e. the ones we should go to first thing in the morning?

I assume Simpsons and Spiderman. Any others we should get to early?

I am almost certain that the Unoffical guide to disney World (book) has a touring plan set out for both. Yes the unoffical guide to disney world. Maybe check teh website as well. Let me know.. I will be needing it

At the Studios...The Simpsons, Shrek and Revenge of the Mummy. At IOA..Hulk and Spiderman are the most popular since they are in the front of the park.
