We will be spending a day at Universal Orlando for the very first time during our summer trip. I can plan a Disney trip with my eyes almost closed at this point, but Universal is unchartered territory for us, so I have all the questions!

This one is about tickets. I see many places online selling them at a discount. Have any of you used these sites and would you recommend the site you've used? Or, is it best to just buy directly from the Universal site? With the exchange rate being what it is, I would love to take advantage of any discount I can get but if these sites are sketchy, I'd rather steer clear.

Thanks, everyone!

The only discounted site i would trust would be Undercover Tourist (using the extra Mousesavers discount) since their prices include taxes and Shipping -- careful right now though since a few of their ticket offerings expire at the end of May!!

If you are an Airmiles collector you are able to redeem for tickets -- 2 day park-to-park non-expiring tickets. I was able to downgrade them at the gate & got the difference on a giftcard.

I've used Undercover Tourist for almost all of my ticket purchasing needs, they really do generally offer the best deal. Remember their prices include both taxes and shipping when comparing, although I noticed they have a button to take the tax off to help comparing.

Universal is the one attraction where I have sometimes purchased direct from the Uni website. They occasionally have exclusive deals that are a bit cheaper than UT and the other discounters.

I bought my Universal tickets - Unlimited days (really 14 days i think) Park-to-Park for $199 USD + ~$20USD tax in Feb 2016 for a March Break trip from TicketsAtWork - a "concierge" service available through my work "perks" plan. Right now the tickets there compared to UT for the 2 Day + 2 Day Free bonus for travel before May is $260.54 (T@W) for an adult ticket vs $263.62 (UT) both including tax. No shipping on an e-ticket. I'm not going until August so I'm waiting to see if the 2+2 day back gets extended beyond May. UT has it already so just waiting for T@W to catch up.
