Can anyone tell me how crowded the parks (especially WWOHP) were on Thanksgiving day? Also how crowded Thanksgiving weekend? We are planning a trip then and weren't planning on visiting the Universal parks but my kids just told me that they would be disappointed if we didn't spend at least one day there so...

You definitely don't want to try Thanksgiving weekend...the crowds are nuts! Thanksgiving Day itself isn't too terribly bad but it's still busy.

This. The week of Thanksgiving is neither slow nor busy. The weekend is superultracrazy packed. Two weeks after, it's a super slowdown. :cool2:

How about the Sunday before Thanksgiving? Was it super crazy busy?

Unfortunately, the earliest that we could go would be Thanksgiving day through Sunday.

Resurrecting this thread.

I understand the weekend of Thanksgiving will be crazy busy. We would like to know what the crowds are like the Monday (and the rest of the week) AFTER Thanksgiving. What are crowds like the following weekend/week as well?

We're thinking of going in 2012. Trying to decide on dates. For that year, we're looking at arriving on Sunday November 25th and leaving on Friday November 30th. The alternate dates we're looking at is to arrive on Sunday December 2nd and leave on Friday December 7th. In your expert opinions, which would be better? Thanks in advance.

After Thanksgiving the crowd levels return to "normal" until Christmas week. Actually...early December is a great time to visit since the weather is wonderful and the crowds are on the low side. Plus..Christmas activities start the first weekend of December so you would be able to see Grinchmas and the Macy's parade.

Thanks Metro. This really helped. :thumbsup2
