We have only one day to enjoy US (a Thursday in mid-December). How difficult will it be to do the whole park if we arrive right at opening? Is there anything you would skip to save time if necessary?

If you're only going to do the Studios and not IOA then you should be able to see everything in one day I would think.

If you plan to go to IOA also, that may be different

This is a tough one, and you should go back and look at a lot of other earlier posts on here about this very question, it may give you some ideas. Its hard to do it, but I always say 1 day at U is better than 0!!!! But my advice is to make sure you stay on site that night so you can use your room key for fast passes, to get to the front of the lines to all the rides. Remember too U is 2 parks not one. And just get up early and hustle. I presonally think Islands of Adventure is the best park, but there are all sorts of opinions on here.

I guess the must do rides in my opinion are: Spider man, Jurassic park Boat ride, the Mummy, the Hulk, Men In Black, Shrek and Terminator shows, and many others but thats a good start.

Yeah if you're only doing one day and insist on staying at that park, you will most probably be able to hit everything, unless for some reason you happen to be there on an extrememly crowded day, but thats unlikely this time of year. So just do everything, you should have time. I would personally recommend the 1 day park hopper and do both and just hit the highlights of both parks. To me IOA is by far the best park, but that's just me, I love them both.

I agree with the others....you should have time to see it all.....but to save time skip~
At US:
Twister
Earthquake
Beetlejuice Show
the Kid Zone (Woody Woodpecker)
Horror Make-Up Show and
Lucy Tribute
I know I'm going to get some flames, but .........

MUST DO's are:
Jimmy Neutron
Shrek
Mummy
Jaws
MIB
MIB
MIB
MIB
T2 3D
.....IMHO, I'd skip Jaws and leave it for #1 on the "non-priority" list....and I know some will disagree with me, but, it's only MHO.... :teeth:
