Universal Studios Hollywood GAP?

I will be visiting Universal Studios Hollywood tomorrow with my boyfriend and I'm wondering if they have a GAP available? I've looked through the threads and have only seen things for Orlando. I know it's safe to assume they're similar in policy, but I know the GAP policies can be different depending on when a theme park was built.

I have leukemia, so standing in line for long periods of time can often lead to dizziness, my medication is sun sensitive, my immune system is quite shoddy, and to top it all off I have things on me that should not be bumped.

I have the alternate access pass for Disneyland, as I'm a passholder. But I'm very opposed to the use of wheelchairs/ecv in my case. (Partly due to my father's disapproval of me using one in the first place.)

And while we are at it with this, anyone aware of a GAC type thing for SeaWorld Orlando for issues similar to what OP states above?? Different ailment but same type limitations...

My son has cystic fibrosis. Has some of the same issues. Seaworld has him on file and never have problems with getting GAC either !

Many thanks

We had no problems getting a GAC at Universal Orlando (not sure if we did for Seaworld but we did for Busch Gardens) so I imagine you shouldn't either.

can someone pm me or post the gac procedures and use at seaworld orlando? i have had gac in the world but that is all...

We showed our dis gac to seaworld customer service..they were stricter then Disney they made my son come over to see them..then they talked a little..then gave me a small pass..its for 10 days and its really only helpfully on the roller coasters..or when they have a seperate fastpass lane..the operators were very nice..no complaints

Yes You have to go to guest relations upon entering the park over to the right, and tell them what your needs are. They will give you a pass that will let you through the GATE A line (express lane) if the line is below 20 minutes otherwise they will write a return time to come back a little bit later and go through the gate A line.

Great info! I've not been to Universal in a good 12 years or so, but if I go there what is the procedure for that park?

We just returned from Universal/Disney trip. At Universal they give you a paper that has boxes where the cm's can enter the a time for you to return to ride it. If the wait time is 20mins or less (I think) then you can go ahead and ride but if it is longer they will give you a time to return. While you are waiting for your time you can either visit shops or sit and take a break then return to the ride at your time. You however cannot ride another ride while waiting for your time on this ride. It worked out great for us as even if there was a a wait time of a little bit more then 20mins they allowed us to go ahead. It made it possible to enjoy the park with our son.
