MY family is going to do IOA and Universal. We are a mom a dad and a four year old girl... What can we ALL DO TOGETHER? How are the lines in May? Do you think a four year old would ride JAWS or JURASSIC PARK??? We definately not commandos but we'd like to find some great things to fill the day! We aren't staying at a USResort, so I'd like some info about the express pass or even if you think I'd need it for the "KIDDIE" stuff??? I really love the Suess landing and the Harry Potter idea, JAWS and Jurassic Park,Simpsons looks like fun too, WHAT ELSE? THANKS EVERYONE!

She could do Jaws if she isn't scared but I don't think she is probably tall enough for Jurassic Park.

There are lots of things she can do. If you go to the website, www.universalorlando.com, you can see videos of all the rides and attractions and maybe if you show them to her, she can decide what she would like to ride.

Jurassic Park and Jaws both scare the pants off of me. I will ride any ride known to man but those two are just off my list. I can be such a pansy :rotfl:

If your daughter meets the height requirements for Jurassic Park (42") and Simpsons (40"), they still may be to intense from a thrill standpoint for her. It just may depend what type of rides your daughter likes. I do not find Jurassic Park or Jaws scary, but again you would have to guage your own daughter as to types of thinks which may scare her. If crowds are not to bad when you go, you may want to have yourself or husband ride first before you decide to take your daughter on the ride.

How tall is she? My DD is five and it looks like she'll get to do most of the tamer rides (spiderman, Men in Black, Jurassic park, etc). She is pretty fearless but no where near the height requirement for any of the coasters. 42" seems to be the magic number as far as height goes.

By Jurassic Park, did you mean just the River Adventure coaster, or anything there at all?

She would have a great time at the Jurassic Park Discovery Center if she likes interactive learning. The Pteranodon Flyers only has a 36" height requirement, but it moves pretty fast. GREAT ride for everyone if she likes that sort of thing. Just go there first before the line gets too long because there is no express line option there. The kid's play area right by the Pteranodon Flyers is really wonderful. Lots of ladders, ramps, and ropes to climb, slides, water spouts, and wonderful theming. Our 3 y/o had a great time there while the rest of us switched off riding the Pteranodon Flyers.

I wouldn't skip Jurassic Park with little ones!
