Universal Studios coming to DFW ... just announced!

I was excited until I saw that it's going to be focused on kids under ten. So no exciting rides. I'll stick to Orlando.

This is exciting news! It's about the same distance from us as Orlando. Our family has been wanting to make a trip to Texas for a while, and this would be an appealing stop. I can see doing a road trip where we stop in Frisco, then move on to Waco to see the Magnolia stuff, then move on to Austin / San Antonio.

My cousin is a PGA golfer and a Valero Open champion, so he is invited back to golf every year. Would be neat to do a combined trip that included cheering him on some year.
