If we fly into LAX at 10:30 or 11am, and go directly to USH, will we have time to do the entire park?

We'll be coming in on a Sunday, May 25 (the day after our wedding) and will be boarding a cruise ship in Long Beach on Monday morning. We haven't been to SoCal before, and just want to make sure we can stack everything we want to do in the time that we have.

Alternatively, might it be better to fly into San Diego and do the SD Zoo with that half day? Should we devote an entire day to USH, or an entire day to the Zoo?

Yep you will have time to do the park!!! The park isnt too big, the tour is about a half hour to 45 min long, there arnt that many rides and there are a couple of shows to take in but they arnt extremely long either. You would have no problem doing the park. USH is much much smaller then Florida

mystic is right. The park really doesn't have a lot of things to do. If you go on an off day, you will be fine!

Nothing to do, lol.

Attached to Universal Studios is City Walk with concerts, a movie theatre, restaurants, and shops.

a 3D show worth the money

A Lucille Ball museum and shop
There are restaurants like Cinnabon, Dodger Dogs, El Pollo loco as well as better cuisine.
Backdraft is where you go into the show and get engulfed in a flaming enferno and is a bit high up on a catwalk, I think.
This Spring the Simpson attraction will open.
Check out their site to see if you prefer that over a trip to the zoo.

San Diego Zoo is disabled friendly and companions of persons in wheelchairs and ECVs get in for free.

Did Universal last year during a Saturday in June. Arrived early as was one of the first to enter. We got everything done and ate lunch and was done by 4PM, so you should have no problems seeing just about everything, you may miss a show or two but will have no problem seeing all the attractions. And Jurassic Park and Mummy are two attractions you MUST see, they're awesome!!!! Be prepared to get wet on Jurassic Park and be prepared for a surprise or two on The Mummy!!!
