I know it's late notice but I'm taking my daughter to Universal on June 4th and staying at the HRH. We will have 3 full days to do what we want to do which is mostly coasters and a swim break each day. Are there strategies available on this forum like when we went DW and used touringplans.com? We want to maximize our time in the park. We do have the express pass and Harry Potter early entrance. Any advice from the pros out there would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

3 full days onsite, relax and wing it.:thumbsup2

Me four :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

One of the best things about staying onsite is No planning........you just don`t have too.........do what you feel like when you feel like.

And you`ll be able to spend some time in the resort with 3 full days.

Hope you have a great time :thumbsup2

Everyone is correct - you don't need to plan if you're staying onsite. Express Pass is the best thing around!

The only planning is what you've already mentioned: early entry for Harry Potter. We just returned today from USF/IOA (May 22-25). With early entry, we were able to ride Forbidden Journey twice; by 9:15am, the wait was already 75 minutes!:scared1:

Rip Ride Rockit is another that doesn't allow the use of Express Passes, so you might want to do this early in the day. After dinner the line really thins out, too, and it's cool to ride it at night.

The only other "planning" I would recommend is to figure out when you'll do the water rides - Jurassic Park, Ripsaw Falls and the Bilge Rat Barges. You will get SOAKED. I'm not kidding! Wear your bathing suits to the parks and head back to the hotel to change afterwards.

Otherwise, HAVE A GREAT TRIP! With Express Pass, you can just relax and do what you want whenever you feel like it and don't have to stick to a schedule. Go ahead and ride MIB 2 or 3 times in a row if you feel like it.

Just ganging on here, but dude with three days and the HRH, don't even worry. WWHP early entry helps but early June is better than mid to late June.

I really appreciate the comments posted. I certainly will enjoy my stay with my daughter. I recently got divorced and I feel really bad for my two kids so I asked my daughter where she would like to go and she really wanted to see the Harry Potter thing and ride some coasters so here we go. My son can't stand coasters so it's me and him at the beach in July. Thanks again for everyone's help. I will try and make a decent report and post it here.
