Universal show!

Great show! RPR was the hotel I was considering for my first Universal stay and would have booked it but after Pete's review of the pool and the music I'll be seriously reconsidering. It's not just parents of small children but probably plenty of adults that would not enjoy listening to offensive music while trying to relax at the pool. I wonder if they do the same thing with a DJ at the other two Universal hotels??

Thanks for a great review.

I wanted to add that I enjoyed Corrine Frye's comments as well. I remember her from being on the show before and was glad to hear from her again. I used to work at Sea World San Diego and they used to say that the dolphins there were insane from the sonar bumping off the tanks and that it was like the quivelant of locking 10 people in a room with everyone screaming at the top of your lungs all day long all the time. I don't know how much of that was true or not but I can tell you that when I worked late on summer nights we wouldn't get out until around 1am and we could hear the whales making crying sounds and sometime making sounds like they were screaming. It used to freak us out and we would run as fast as we could to get out of the park. I haven't been back to Sea World since.

Very happy to have the universal show. DW and I will be hitting US and IOA for a day each on our trip in December and neither of us have been in at least 10 years (last time I was at IOA and I haven't been to US itself in over 15 years).

We're playing around with chapters and other enhanced features in the podcast. I started with the Universal show just to get a feel for how much time it adds to post production. At some point we will do it with the Disney show, just not sure when. It's easier from a time perspective on a monthly show than a twice weekly one.

When I stayed at the Hard Rock, they had a DJ. I don't recall any particularly racy lyrics (it was standard top-40 junk), but I don't recall any at Royal Pacific either.

Here's a question about Universal...may be common sense, but no harm in asking

Going to Disney in October and we usually take a day trip to Universal. We usually only go to the one park and not IOA. Does IOA honor the Fast Pass? Do you think they will for Harry Potter?

Thanks!

IOA does have a front of the line pass available for purchase...As far as WWOHP having front of the line rides I believe that the re-themed Dueling Dragons will be the only ride/attraction that will have front of the line access....But all of the other big ticket rides such as Hulk, Jurassic Park, Dudley Do Right etc.. do have front of the line access....So at least you can enjoy all of those rides with minimal waits which will make up for the hours you'll be standing in line for the Potter attractions :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info on where to find the mp3 version and how to convert files (which I haven't tried yet)
