Hi there , I just booked our first stay at RPR. I have never stayed on Universal property before. If I wanted to go to SW, is there transport or do I take a cab? Sorry for the dumb question :confused3

TIA

Penny

Also wanted to know what a great place for a 40th birthday dinner would be. Outside of the parks and we will have no kids with us.

Yes, here's what Universal's website says about transportation to SeaWorld:

SeaWorld® Orlando & Wet ‘n Wild® Transportation*
There are complimentary scheduled buses available to transport guests to SeaWorld Orlando and Wet ‘n Wild®. Reservations are required for this service. Upon arrival, contact the Attraction Ticket Center 24 hours in advance to book your complementary hotel transportation.

As for a 40th birthday dinner, I'd suggest Emeril's Tchoup Chop. It's a little pricey but worth it. It's also located at RPR. It has a business casual dress code. It can be booked at opentable.com.

Afterwards, if you like music, visit the Dueling Piano Bar at Pat O'Briens. We find it entertaining, but it can packup after 8pm on the weekends.

Thank you very much for the info! Funny, because I had already went ahead and booked Emeril's on Opentable.com, just not on my birthday.:goodvibes So, any other suggestions on an awesome place to eat would be most appreciated. Thanks again for your help!!

You're welcome!

As for other choices, there are several good restaurants at Citywalk. My personnal favorites are Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe and Bubba Gumps.

I've tried Pastamore's twice and was disappointed in the food both times. In my opinion, the food is bland compared to other Italian restaurants. I've heard the Mama Della's at PBH is very good, but when we tried eating there this past October, there was a 2 1/2 hour wait.

I've also tried NBA City which was fine but not as good as my three favorites.

There are several other Citywalk restaurants that I haven't eaten at: The Latin Quarter, Nascar Cafe, Pat O'Brien's and Bob Marley.

If all else fails, a BK Whopper Bar just opened in Citywalk too! :rotfl:

Latin Quarter is good.

for inside the park, Mythos is another popular place with good food.

and the portions are large there..............

i'm such a pig when it comes to food.......
