1. do they offer a service from/to airport like Disney? also is there a fee? we would be staying at one of the resorts.

2. do you feel a 5 night stay is enough time to see both parks, the dining/shopping area and relax poolside some? (oh yea, with a 5 yr old)

3. is there an easy way to get to/from Sea World from the hotels?

4. when do they have the best rates? I am looking toward late spring/early summer...

Thanks for the info !!

no, they do not. I recommend a car service w/ grocery stop. OR, car service from mco to resort and the Holiday Inn Universal across the street has Budget there, rent a car there...they offer "pick you up" service

absolutely....we just stayed 5 nites/6 days and had plenty of time! :thumbsup2

We've never gone to SW, but i believe there is a shuttle, but doesn't run continously....may be better/easier getting cab home.

Do NOT go in May....cheer season. It was posted here to be busy the beginning of May....go later May or early June....I don't think it was too busy beginning of June....OR go late April (after Easter/spring break rush)

If you go in May, make sure you avoid Fridays and Saturdays as the school groups are there. Sunday-Thursday are good!

Welcome back!!

As for Cheer Season - Late March is also big cheer season. There is a huge Nationals competition last weekend in March at the Orange County Convention Center. I have my fingers crossed that this is the one my daughter's team is going to. (We usually do alternate coasts and this year we were in Anaheim.) Hedging my bets, we made our reservations at PBH last week :goodvibes

We just got back as well after staying for 7nights June 24th -July 1. I think we could have done it all in 5. We didn't go to Sea World but we did take one day and went to I drive and did some shopping. The extra time was great though, we got to swim every day and took lots of time for meals.

1. If you are staying on site at one of the Universal Hotels, they can arrange transportation to and from the airport for you, with MEARS transportation, but there will be a fee. I think its approx $17 per person one-way. I forget exactly, but they added it in my package price. Or you could call a cab 407-422-2222. That's the cab service Universal recommended.

2. 5 Nights is plenty of time.

3. Transporation to and from SeaWorld and Wet & Wild Water parks are provided if you stay on-site.

4. Not sure about rates.

Hope this helps. :thumbsup2
