Hello all! My family has been on countless Universal vacations, but I haven't been in 3 years, and haven't really experienced it as an adult.

I'm excited to be moving to Orlando in what looks like 3 months! And, I know that once I get there, I'm not going to be able to stay out of all the theme parks. (Especially Universal since I have missed it so much.)

So, my first question that I hope several of you will be willing to answer is: does anyone out there have a Premiere Pass to Universal, and is it worth the price? Do you really use all that it offers?
To me it seems like it makes sense as far as the difference in price goes, and the features that it offers. (I.e. Valet parking, Express Pass, City Walk pass...) But what is your experience with it?

Beyond that, I want to talk about City Walk just in general. I ventured there once when I was 16 to a club that had a teen night of some sort. It was PACKED. That's about all I remember of it.
So...considering I want to be at the parks, and I know DTD doesn't have much nightlife, I just wanted to know, what is the scene like there?
Is it young?
Is it safe(-er than general downtown Orlando)?
Is it worth it to have an actual pass to get in there all the time?

Thanks in advance for the help!

My wife and I live near Tampa and have premier passes. We love them!

Two reasons:
1. Valet parking. We love not having to walk over from the parking garage. We love not having to walk back after a long day even more. Valet is NOT valid during special events like HHN and Mardi Gras but you still get preferred parking for "free". Valet gate is next to the movie theater.
2. Express after 4 PM. We're slow starters. Usually show up after noon, get some lunch and a couple adult beverages, then hit the rides at four with express.

We not really night owls, but can say Rising Stars on a weekend when they have the backup band is pretty awesome. Get there early if you want a table.

We get the frequent fear pass for HHN each year so can't use it, but if you don't, you get an off peak ticket free.

The bottled water coupons are convenient too.

Best of luck with your move! I know I've never looked back :beach:

Yes I am happy about both of those things. And I am familiar with the Express pass as we always stayed on property.

Are there any changes to the Express Pass?
