Universal Partner Hotels

Which of Universal's partner hotels would you most recommend? Which ones have you stayed in? How is the transportation to the parks from these hotels? Thanks for any info!

We just stayed at the Holiday Inn at the entrance to Universal. They are just completing some renovations but it was a nice place to stay. None of the renovations effected us and we found the hotel clean and good enough for our stay. They offered a shuttle to universal as well as Wet & Wild and Sea World. The shuttle to universal was offered 3 times - 8:20 (you get there at 8:30 or 8:35), 10 and 11. (Not sure if the last 2 are the exact times but they are close.) There are 3 shuttles back from Universal - 5:55, 8:20 and 9:10. If you have early entry into the park (we did from the Harry Potter package), then you get to walk over to the park but it was only a 15-20 minute walk with nice scenery.
