Universal packed on the 30th.

SIL,BIL (AP holders) took us to IOA and Universal on Dec. 30th.We had one day left from a 2 day pass.Wanted to see Grinchmas and the Macy's parade.Knew it would be jammed but hoping to get a few Express Passes to ride Spiderman,the Hulk,Fire and Ice. The passes were all "sold out" for everything we tried by 2PM. Did get to ride Fire and Ice( Fire my favorite from the front row. ) Had a great meal at Mythos. Saw the Grinch.Sign said 60 min. wait but it was only 25min.Ended up watching the parade from in front of Macy's next to the tree.Great spot.The kettle corn was great they were selling across the street.The best part was grabbing a snack and some Guiness at Finnegans(sp?) afterwards. Had a great time overall despite the crowds.When we become fulltime FL residents we're definitely getting APs its a steal for Fl residents

IOA broke it's all time attendance record that day with over 36,500 in attendance! Blame them for making all the express run out!

My BIL said he had been there on some busy holiday days before but had never seen it that busy. Remember riding the water rides in the summer only 10-20min and getting drenched. DW was wearing red leather shoes and her feet were bright red for days LOL. The waits this time were over 90mins.People should have just jumped the rail and dove in.Same conclusion. No wait.LOL

IOA broke it's attendance record on the first day I was there? Wow...we knew it was crowded, but I thought it was SUPPOSED to be that crowded. Still, we had lots of fun, did Hulk many times with the express pass (LOVED staying on site, just for that benefit). The park was less crowded by far on January 2, the last day we went.

Wow I believe it we were there also on that day..I was glad we got there very early and got express tickets early also..

Once we ran out of express tickets we left the park and went home and rested...

I think EVERY ride ran out of express that day. And I mean EVERY ride.
