On this week's episode of the Dreams Unlimited Travel Podcast, the panel of experts answers the questions you've sent in about the Universal Orlando Resort! Enjoy the show!

That was a very informative podcast. We are going to Universal in Feb. and will stay for the first time onsite. I am thinking Royal Pacific Resort? I will need to go back and watch the previous 3 podcasts about Universal. thanks, Jackie:)

I'm so glad you enjoyed the show! Let me know if you need any help finding any of the shows about the Universal resorts. Here's the one where they covered the new room makeovers at Royal Pacific:

Thanks, Jackie, I just watched the room renovation film. The rooms are really beautiful. The more I see about RPR, the more I can't wait to get there!
I have tried to find the other 3 Universal podcasts, but haven't had any luck. Any help would be appreciated.
I am also kicking around the idea of buying AP's, because 2 days park to park tickets will cost us $440. plus the room at RPR. I could get a reduced rate of 25 to 30% on the RPR with a n AP, and other discounts, plus park to park tickets for a whole year. I've never bought AP's before, and find Disney's too high priced at $750.00 a person for the one we could use the most. Any thoughts?
We live in N. Mn. so one trip a year is good for us, but could schedule it before the AP expires. Also, I heard that the AP is activated on the date you buy it, not on the first date you go to Universal? Is this correct?
thanks a bunch. I've got a feeling I am going to be a Universal convert very soon:)

No, the AP is activated with your first use.

I'm going to put the 3 Universal shows here - they are the Dreams Unlimited Travel podcast and not the Universal edition of the DIS Unplugged - I think that might be why you couldn't find them. :)

Since I'm more of a Disney girl and haven't been to Universal with the exception of staying the weekend at Cabana Bay, I'm hoping that @macraven will be able to weigh in on the AP cost. I know that when we lived in Seattle and used to be able to come to WDW twice during the year, the 10-day mark was the break-even point for us.

I just watched episode 34. Excellent information for sure. My kids prefer USO to WDW and I was pleasantly surprised at the love given by you all for Universal. I just recently found your podcasts and enjoy them.

Hey Jackie, would you be willing to do more Universal videos in the near future? I really like this whole team and their chemistry, but am more interested in Universal info than Disney info. I see that they do a lot of Disney videos, would they be willing to do maybe a monthly video on Universal? I'd love to hear more about their experiences around the parks and resorts.

I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying all of the Universal content! I've forwarded your note onto the Dreams Unlimited Podcast team because we're always looking for feedback from our listeners.

In the meantime, have you checked out the Universal Edition of the DIS Unplugged? That show is live on YouTube every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Here is a link to the DIS Unplugged YouTube channel (just scroll down to DIS Unplugged: Universal Edition) so you can find it easily: https://www.youtube.com/user/DISUnplugged
