Does anyone have experience using these one or two day certificates purchased using membership rewards points? Website indicates "For Universal Orlando tickets, the billing card member's name will appear on each ticket and identification will be required for the billing card member at the park entrance." Does the billing name appear on the certificates? Has your ID been checked? Using corporate rewards points for an employee and I don't want them to have trouble at the park. Not concerned about optimizing value due to amount of points we have.

Thanks!

Ps. A snapshot of the certificate (with details hidden) would be great! Thanks!

We used these in June for two friends of my daughter with no problem, even though my husband's name was on it and he was not with us. We used them to get in the park, and then went straight to guest services inside the park and upgraded them to an AP with no problem (you get the cost of a two day park to park pass for them). But I was with them. We are doing it again on this trip, for my older daughter and another friend, so can let you know afterwards how it went (MLK weekend).

In June, you could just print off the certificate on your printer and it was great. Now, you have to order, they cannot be expedited, and it can take 5-10 days to receive it as the certificate comes directly from Universal. And it is just a pass with a barcode and the name in black and white, and some universal picture, on just white printer paper, nothing fancy-sorry, one is already gone and waiting on the other to arrive.

I am getting ready to "buy" some of these as well, are they good for anytime of year? if I buy now, but don't use until July?
I got these for our past trips, but we could do the print ourselves, this "certificate" is new to me.
THANKS!

I hope we can use anytime, as we got one to use in November and we didn't get to go, so am hoping it will be good next weekend. We will find out-

I am assuming there would be dates on the certificate, so if you aren't seeing any then I think we are good!

I just called Guest Services (because it has been a weird week and I didn't want any more surprises!) to check on the tickets. Her response was that the tickets they issue are good for one calendar year from the date issued, so it should not be a problem even though it was issued back in November, as long as no days have been used. Once the ticket has been used, you have 6 days to use the second day.

Will let y'all know if it is any different!

Used two certificates to get into the park yesterday-for my daughter and a friend. Neither had their name checked, tickets were scanned, they did the finger scan, and away they went! Both also upgraded their tickets to passes-one a Florida resident Power pass (got one month free) and one to a Florida resident Preferred pass (got 3 months free!). We had no issues using them, and hope this helps you-and have a great trip!

And the new certificate we got this week did have an expiration date on it of a year from issue date.

Was just coming to the boards and this thread caught my eye. We are going to Universal for the first time ever in April. Starting to look for ticket deals. :) We do have AMEX points.. can anyone comment on whether this is a good value for points? I believe we usually turn our points into statement credits.

Thanks!
