Universal Or Animal Kingdom?

I am the biggest DAK fan so I have to choose DAK

We actually had to make this decision on the vacation we are planning in May. Sat down with DH, DS10 and DS5 to discuss last month. Although we all like AK, it was a unanimous vote for Universal.

We had to do the same thing for our upcoming May trip. (although really, the question was, where woudl you like to spend a SECOND day, since we are doing 1 day at both)

We voted for Universal.

We like AK over Universal. We find enough to do in AK to have a blast all day and don't really need all the roller coasters.

The question is Universal, not IOA, with that in mind Universal really only has the Mummy as far as a rollercoaster which equals AK'S Everest.I love AK and Universal but right now there's more at Universal and if I had to pick a park to spend the entire day I still pick USF(not counting IOA).

I was about to pick Universal then changed my mind to AK. Why? If your going to the other Disney parks then the rides at Universal will seem very similar.

AK is very unique park. It will be a different experience then all the other parks.

What ever you choose you will have fun.

Before EE, I would pick Universal but at least for now, I will pick AK. I have to try that rollercoaster. After that, I can give you a better pick.

since i can see parrots and lanterns at Ak i'm going there ( we have been to US 2 times and that's twice more than i needed to go)

I chose Animal Kingdom, I went to Universal last year and wasn't that impressed about it. Animal Kingdom I went to twice its now my favourite park. I am just waiting to see if I can get on EE without wimping out.

i LOVE AK, i love all the rides there (bar dinosaur) and all the animals etc but i voted universal as one of my 1 of my 5 favourite rides is there: Men In Black

I would definetly choose AK over Universal. Universal just doesn't put the same emphasis on details that Disney does..

No interest here for Universal, Sea World, or any other Orlando attractions. We are a Disney family and the only time we leave WDW property after arriving is the day we leave to go home.

Prior to the new Universal commercials, I would have probably chosen Universal because they have more rides......but since Universal commercials have been bashing Disney......I would go to AK over Universal any day!!!!

If my kids were a little older, I would head to univeral for a day. That almost sounds like heresy, but they do have great rides for older children and on up, but for my young children, AK is just right for them.
