NOT all day! :faint: I'm thinking arrive at opening and be gone before lunch; just a couple hours. We typically make the 4th a resort day at WDW and will do that for the rest of the day, but are thinking of squeezing in a few rides at US first. Anyone been there early on the 4th and lived to tell the tale?! ;)

Yes! I've lived to tell the tale! We were there last year and it was GREAT! I don't know if everyone stayed away afraid of the crowds but it was almost freaky! We stayed on site so I didn't get a good handle on the wait times. The 5th was WAY more crowded. It could have been a fluke year but we certainly enjoyed it!

That's great to hear - thanks! I've found the same at WDW: we've done AK and EP early on the 4th and they were sooooo quiet. By noon they were packed, but we were already GONE!

I figure, too, no rush hour traffic on I-4 since it's a holiday. :thumbsup2

We try to go over the 4th every year. It's not too bad in the morning, the afternoon gets crazy for fireworks later. We will be there onsite this year too.:thumbsup2
