Hi,

we are considering a December trip, and would be at the parks Christmas Day. We would have FOTL passes based on our hotel…

But, we have never been at Christmas time. How crazy would this be? Would we be able to enjoy the parks, rides, etc? Or better to plan something else?

oh, kids are 11 and 14, so rides are key for them.

Thanks!

We've been there twice on Christmas day. It's busy, but Express Passes make it not too bad. Crowds seem to go the next level the following day. We've never been to the parks on the 26th, we've always checked out that day, but the lobby was significantly more crowded on the 26th.

We also plan to go over Christmas for the first time this year. I really hope with Express Pass and EE we can manage, but overall I am just glad if we can be there, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy all the beautiful decoration for Christmas. Happy planning and enjoy your Christmas trip.

The atmosphere is wonderful during the holiday season and the parade should not be missed!

Christmas day at Universal is amazing (we have done it the past several years). Last year was different with no Grinchmas or Macy's parade (they had some of the floats inside where you could take a quick tour). Make sure you get reservations for christmas dinner (and/or Christmas Eve) and be sure to thank cast members as they are working instead of spending time with their families at Christmas.
