Universal on a weekday or Saturday?

We are heading to Florida for a week "beach" vacation, but plan on coming into Orlando for a day trip to see Harry Potter....we are there next week, July 2-11th. Would you suggest a weekday or the Saturday, July 10th? We are spending the night of the 10th in Orlando, and then flying home on the 11th. We also want to do Typhoon Lagoon, so will do a midweek day trip, and then we have the Saturday before we leave. I am just trying to decide which day to do which activity.

My husband hates the heat and crowds (I know....that IS Florida in July), so I am trying my best to find a "good" day to go.....I just really, really want to see WWHP...and this may be the only time we get near it in the next few years.

Any advice would be great!

I would avoid Saturday. Unfortunately, the 3 days we'll be there are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (the 4th of July) why couldn't we have planned it better?

If you can go during the week, you will be much better off. It's been very hot down here lately and rain isn't falling that often which makes waiting in lines much worse because of the humidity. Stick with mid-week if you can help it. If not...try to get there early and drink LOTS and LOTS of water.

do weekdays and you will be better off cause we have done June and July and the weekends seem to be extremely crowded and take his advise on drinking alot of water

Does the weekday advice apply year round? We are going in September and were thinking about spending Labor Day weekend at US/IOA.

Anyway, the Summer Concert Series is going on, so you could definitely expect more crowds on July 10th. Definitely stick with a weekday.
