Universal newbies need help!

I've looked at the FAQ links on this board and still have questions.

My hubby Kenny and I will be heading to Universal Studios Oct. 29. We have a one day park to park ticket. I've read about Mears shuttle services. Is it really $18 per person? Does it pick you up at the hotel or do we have to go to a pick up point? We will be staying at CBR. Can you do round trip with it as well? Do you pre-pay or do you pay when you get there?

Where is the drop-off point at Universal? Is there more than one? We want to go to IOA first so we can check out WWOHP. (Big HP fans!) Do we have to go through Universal Studios to get to IOA?

We'll be there from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

I would call Mears directly to get pricing and drop off points. They are pretty helpful from my experience.

As for the park layout, imagine in a way a V shape. You park or get dropped off and walk through the Citywalk area which is at the bottom point of the V. IOA and Universal are both at the other two points of the V and you go left to get to IOA and right to get to Universal. When you want to park hop you can go straight across between the two top points (which I guess makes a triangle standing on a point ) so it's all very manageable.

I hope that this made sense. It would be easier to draw.

Another thing, you might want to arrive early to get into WWoHP. They let us in at just past 8:30 but they're not consistent when it comes to that.
