Universal Newbie, Fotl Question

Hi, after years of going to WDW, we're finally going to Universal for the first time, Which brings me to this board for the first time. We're going next month and are staying on site mostly because of FOTL, but I've been reading about changes to FOTL. Could someone please explain what those changes are? Thanks in advance
