I looked at the universal website, but it says to check at the theme park ticketbooth... so I will ask here.... how much is the 2 park/1 day meal plan? TIA!!:cutie:

What are the limits on the meal plan? It is anything like the Disney meal plan?

I don't want to ask redundant questions, so if there is another thread about this, my sincerest apologies.

It's actually 24.99 for the 2 park one and 19.99 for the 1 park one.

We just did it to try it out. On the days the park closes early it doesn't seem to be much of a value since they stop serving food 30 mins before they close and only start at 11am. So for us it was available from 11 am - 5:30 pm. We never ate 24.99 worth of food.

And supposidly if you buy them online you get a card for a dinner entree at certain restaurants at citywalk for that night on nights the park closes early. But if you purchase the deal in the park you do not. At least that's what they told us. We had purchased the adult ones online and decided to get one for our DD (2yrs) while we were there and they said they didn't do the citywalk entree unless purchased online in advance.

I think last fall/winter they experimented w/ including a City Walk meal w/ it...because of the parks closing early.... Not sure what they are currently doing....eh, what do I know?? We don't use the meal deal....when we're there we don't care...we eat good!! :thumbsup2

I'm sure someone who is recently there will know and report in....OR a TM....

We went in June and ordered the 2-park meal deal with city walk dinner. All I can say is what a let down. I understood that you were limited in the park with what you could eat, ie. hamburgers, pizza and such; but what a disapointment it was when we went to dine at the Bubba Gump Shrimp house and were given the "special" menu for our dinner. While we sat and watched everyone around us eat piled high plates of steamed shrimp and crablegs, we were given the choice of a hamburger, fried chicken with gravy or fried shrimp along with a soft-drink. No entree, no dessert. No good choices. Never again!

We just did the 1 park plan in Sept. It was okay but probably wouldn't do it again. I think for what they charge, you should be able to stop at any counter-service restaurant and get what you want.
When we were there, park hours were 9-6 so we felt like we had to eat dinner at 5, just to get 2 meals out of it. Most times, we were still full from lunch and weren't really ready for dinner.
When we go back in Nov., we'll probably just eat lunch in the park and have dinner in City Walk or our hotel.
