Universal Loews Royal Pacific Resort - anyone stayed there?

Well, I bit the bullet and booked a night through Loews on website.

Messed up tho and had it for one adult but it was easy enough to modify the booking to two adults, just hope they don't try and charge me twice for it!!

Paid almost double what Wayne paid for the same room with his glitch :(

Is it worth you buying an AP Luke? The AP rates came out this week through September. AP rate for our nights in August is $134 per night (we are paying $131 with the stay more, save more rate but would defintiely have been a good rate if we only wanted one night)

Sadly not :( This is gonna be our last trip for a while (time to start planning a family!) and we got our 7 day for $99 just before the offer ran out :)

Thanks anywho, kinda glad to have it all booked and only the last third of our flights/wdw stay to pay for :)

Is it the 5th August Luke?
Just looked $90 saving with AP, a big difference.
I would watch for AAA rate, keep checking. If you don't have AA cover you can buy it for £9 thru Quidco.

We check in on the 5th for 3 nights. You stalking me? :rotfl2:

Yeah it is the 5th August, thought about AA etc but then just kinda worried when I saw Expedia sell out and booked it :lmao:

And of course I'm stalking you, it wouldn't be a Florida holiday if I wasn't in the same hotel as you for one night :lmao:

You can change to AAA rate right upto you going if they offer it. You have upto five days prior to your arrival date to cancel existing reservation with full refund.

Now you are scaring me, you and Nigel(DISwolves) seem to be following me around a lot. Although with you its just hotels, I have seen Nigel on the plane also:scared1:

Ah thanks Wayne, I'll keep that in mind! Could be a last minute saving I can spend on any Monk/Psych merchandise I'm hoping to find round Universal :thumbsup2

What time do you check into RPR (if you keep your reservation)?
Would be increasingly stalker-ish if you were in front of me in the queue :lmao:

We have decided to keep the 3 nights 5th-8th I got with the glitch. Was going to add 4th (day we arrive) on AP rate of $159 but add parking and net it converts to £135, as we won't be checking in until around 8pm(landing 6:30pm) I think its a waste so we are going to stay at Country Inn and Suites LBV, stayed there twice before, really nice beds, wireless net, fridge, microwave & breakfast for just over £30. Also as its on DTD doorstep might get there for an hour before bed.
Will then check into Universal on the 5th, maybe early so we can make use of Front of line, not sure yet.

tripleA rate is $212 + tax, apparently they had no APH rates left for July, do not know about Aug

Thanks Robert, wouldn't save that much to be honest then.

Ah you'll be checked in well before us, can't see us getting there til 4 ish I reckon, then straight to the parks for a bit of FOTL :)
