We just spend a couple of days in Universal this past April. Overall, we thought it was a fun park, especially the Harry Potter areas, but way too many rides are based on 3D screen experience.

to be honest i was really hoping for a indiana jones disneyland type ride

I haven't ridden it myself, but all of the reviews I've seen are very positive.
Maybe I'm being uptight, but I wish it wasn't so violent.

It was great in Universal Hollywood. Not something captured on video is how immersive it feels when you are in the tram with everything happening around you.

My husband has a friend in Orlando who spent 3 hours in line yesterday to ride it - it went down a couple of times while he was waiting. He loved the attraction.

What more were you possibly expecting? It wasn't ever supposed to be a long major attraction. There just isn't enough space there for that.

I don't know if it can be considered a bust yet. Give it some time. It's still in soft opening from what I know. And I think it looks cool. Hopefully I will be down to ride it soon.

7 Dwarves Mine Train is considered a complete bust to many as well.

Kong is still better than anything WDW has done in recent memory.
And its unlikely FEA will be anything to brag about.

This. I loved the USH version. It was different in that it was part of the larger tram tour, but it was still a really cool experience.

"BUST" is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm one of those that considers 7DMT to be a bust. Would I ride it again? Maybe if the line was short, but it didn't really impress me in any way.

My expectations are SUPER low for FEA. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised when I go next month, but at least it's an air conditioned boat ride.

I thought the Video looked cool especially the end bit, as I was imagining how good it would look with the 3d glasses on and feeling the effects in the bus.

Although after last weeks Universal Podcast don't think I'll be albe to get on, as they said people jump out on you in the queue and I'm too much of a chicken for that sort of thing.

Actually next time I visit Universal I'm going to try and get through HPFJ without closing my eyes in the spider bit, been on 4 times and closed my eyes everytime. Although the last time I rode it, I did managed to keep them open (well mostly) for the dementor bit so am making some progress.

3 nights? 4 nights? 5 nights? Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, or Portofino? Which HHN package? I have no idea how I'd track that all without Excel!
