I saw the AP discounts say:
Free use of kennels for one pet on the day of your visit ..

Would that be the first day you visit, or the day(s) you visit the parks? Has anyone used them before? What do they require? Thanks!

I have never used them, but I would think that they require an offical copy of shots from the vet...all shots medically needed (rabies etc...) plus the Bordadella.

From what I remember, the preferred AP pass lets you use the kennel for free on all days of your visit, unless things have changed.
We've stayed onsite twice, and brought our lab. Both times, we used the kennel, and it was free. The hotel checked our vet papers. You must visit a vet within 10 days of your visit, to make sure your pet is in good shape. Basically, the hotel doesn't want pets to die on property, and then have people sue them. Once at the kennel, we just showed our AP, filled out some paper work, and put our dog in a huge cage outside. It was very easy and the people were very friendly. I'm not sure if they'll ask for vet papers, but I know the onsite hotels will.
Here are my trip reports for our lab.

Did the kennel also check your papers or once we showed them to the hotel, could we leave them there? We're taking the cat in for his shots and checkup soon, but the trip won't be until April / May, though this is his first visit to the vet (just got him 4 months ago) so it's still needed even if we have to take him again 10 days prior to the trip.

You will have to show your shot records at the kennel. If they are current, you won't need a recent visit to the vet. 10 days should be fine.

My fiance & I are both AP holders. We have two dogs :dog2: pug:.The kennel is free every time you go & you can't leave your dogs over night & you have to walk them yourselves. The employees are great cuz they are dogs lovers, so your dogs are taken care of. Also yes make sure you show shots or proof that your dog was at the vet 10 days before.

They love all pets, and have cages and pens for everything you could imagine.

Big dogs go out back with 6 foot fences. Little dogs and cats got in smaller cages inside. Trust me, this facility is huge.
