Hello,
You can tell I'm ready for an Orlando get-a-way (already planning a March 2022) trip. Anyway, We're doing a week long trip to the area (staying at the Sheraton Vistana) - Doing SeaWorld one day, two days at Disney park (two at Epcot for some, one at Epcot and one at MK for others), Manatee day and cookout with my nephew who lives in Orlando, resort time one day, etc. and the two 20 somethings in our party want to do one day at Universal Park to Park ticket when others do a day trip to Tampa to visit other relatives.

From what I am reading, even though it almost doubles the cost, I'm thinking of forking over for the one EP per ride per day in each of the two parks on top of the park to park tickets for the 20 somethings. We love March in Orlando and are going specifically to hit Epcot flower and garden, but March is spring break season, so I'm guessing the express pass would make the Universal parks a much more enjoyable experience? Let me know what you think? Or for a Tuesday, would you recommend just doing rope drop starting with a touring plan?

Also, I was thinking that the EP that gives you an express pass one time on attractions vs. the unlimited. Thoughts on that?

With just two people interested in doing the Universal parks and their just doing those for one day, when I did the math, the express pass was more cost effective than a throw away deluxe Universal room -- that was using dates for this year just to get an ideas, as March 2022 is too much in the future. (Note: I understand that the Haygrid's ride requires waiting in the standby line (on our last visit that was true for Gringott's and Forbidden Journey required the standby line, so it's nice that those are on EP list.

Appreciate your thoughts.

1. When in March? If it's a Tues in the 1st week, I'd say EP isn't necessary. Later in March will be busier.

2. If single rider lines are back by then, they are really just as good as EP. They don't have one for every ride and it is not helpful on RRR, but is great for the majority of "big ticket" rides: Mummy, Spiderman, FJ, Gringotts, Transformers, Hulk, MiB, maybe Fast & Furious and Kong.

The third full week in March, March 22nd.

Didn't realize what a difference single rider lines make. I'm not sure whether those will be gone by next March, but maybe I'll get the touringplans.com subscription to Universal as that would be able to keep me up to date on that I'm thinking. Those subscriptions last a year, so I'll wait till April of this year to get any of those. I'm been impressed with their ability to keep up to date and estimate waits and times for WDW, but have no idea how well they do with the Universal parks.

I agree with the previous poster, if single rider lines come back then I think they will be ok on a Tues/Wed even during Spring Break.

If there are still no single rider lines, or either of them are HUGE Harry Potter fans (and want time to wander through the HP areas more extensively) then I would splurge on EP if it doesn’t break the bank.

Thanks CAPSLOCK and AJA! The park to park tickets and EPs could be a good Christmas present for them.
