Universal in July with Diagon Alley opening?

We are going June 28 - July 2. I am very worried about the crowds. I have an 8 yr old, 12 yr old and 13 yr. old. To be honest I am more worried about DH. He has very little patience with crowds and amusement parks. We are staying offsite at bluegreen resorts. I believe it is appx 30 minutes from universal. Any advice you could give would be appreciated.

Price out what one night would cost at one of the onsite resorts that offer unlimited express pass. One night would get your whole family two full days of unlimited express passes.(It would also get you two days of early entry). It might be worth it for the hubby who hates lines and crowds. Weekday stays are cheaper than weekend stays.

Price it out and see if this would be valuable to you and your family.
