We are planning a cruise in August which goes Sat-Sat. A local flight flies into Sanford Orlando Airport at 1:30pm....We would have from when we arrive in Orlando , maybe 3pm ish until Sat am free. I would love to do Universal. Our kids are 8 and 10.. It looks hard to do in one day. Would it be worth getting a two day and doing a few things days of arrival? or is 1.5 days just not long enough. so confused. Looking at threads here, it seems like a must do to stay onsite which is really pricey for us who might not even have time to enjoy the pools which our kids love pools too. hmm. Any advice is appreciated , thanks so much!

It will be busy this summer, and for some time to come, with the opening of the Diagon Alley expansion of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Is there any chance of extending your vacation by a day or two?

Otherwise I say just go for it and spend your 1.5 days there and get a taste of it, and you will know what you want to do next time you come down!

You might not see it all, and it will be quite crowded. Maybe you can look into a partner hotel that has early entry?
