Universal hotels discount for UK, teachers, armed forces etc

Hi All,
We are thinking of staying in one of the Universal hotels July/August 2008. As a retired UK armed forces person married to a college lecturer, does either of the armed forces or teacher discounts apply to us Brits? If they do do we still book via the Universal website, if so, what codes do we put in?

Lastly if I buy an annual pass for Universal does that qualify for a booking discount and if so is it greater than the two mentioned above?

Hi, I don't know about military rates etc but if you belong to the AA here in the Uk it is affiliated with the AAA and you can phone universal and benefit from AAA reduced rates, just remember to take your AA membership card with you. We nearly always do this ourselves as it is sometimes cheaper than the supersaver rate.
