I am thinking about staying at one of the Universal hotels for one night at the end of our next trip in order to get into the Harry Potter area early on our departing day (you get to do that if you're staying in one of their hotels, right?). Anyway, we will have 2 adults and 3 kids (11, 12 and 14). When I search for rooms, the site keeps giving me rooms with 2 queen beds, even though I put in that we will have 5 people.

So my question is, where do they anticipate the 5th person sleeping?

Thanks very much!

Leslie

having stayed at both the Portofino and Royal Pacific many times...and always with a party of 5..the only way to fit is by getting a roll-away. None of the room at either resort (or at the Hard Rock) accommodate 5 in existing bedding unless you get a suite which is huge money. The roll-away is an extra $25 per night. RP is a tight squeeze as all the rooms are about 350 sq ft. If you can swing the extra money...go with PB..even the standard rooms are much larger and you won't feel as cramped with the roll-away.

Our family of five just used an air mattress. Did not have to pay the $25 dollar a night roll away fee :thumbsup2

Thanks, guys! That's what I needed to know.
