I know this forum is mostly aimed at the Orlando parks but hopefully some of you have knowledge of the Hollywood version.

We will be in Anaheim (travelling from UK) from late on 1st April till 7th April. My original plan calls for us to go to Universal on Sunday 2nd and Friday 7th. We hope to see everything in two days.

Is this realistic?

A further problem is that I am in a wheelchair - at USF they claim everything is wheelchair accessible but I know from experience that this is only true if there is someone in my party able to tip the wheelchair and turn it on the spot as many of the queues have such tight turns they are impossible otherwise! Does anyone know what it is like at USH?

We also plan to eat at Hard Rock Cafe - has anyone eaten here and what is their opinion?

is there anything else we ought to know?

Thanks in advance.

Sue

I don't remember the wheel chair stuff, but here is my report from last year.

You'll be able to see everything in two days. USH is smaller than USF, but it's fun to visit.

I don't think you will need two days. We did everything quite nicely in 1. Honestly, I would spend the extra day doing something else.

I can't help you with the wheelchair info eithr, sorry.

It has been more than 10 years since I have been to Hollywood, but I do like that park better than the Orlando version. The tram ride will take you through not just movie sets, but many of the rides that you have to walk and stand in line for in Orlando. It is built on the side of a mountain, so to get to the bottom level you will take the longest escalators I have ever seen. I do not know about what they do for wheelchairs. Get there early and you should see it all in 1 day. Ride the tram 1st and then make room for everything else. The stunt shows are really good in Hollywood. they used to have Conan, Ateam, Miami Vice, Cowboys. I don't know what they have now.

The tram tour segments are hardly the same as the full length USF attractions. You don't even get in a boat for the Jaws segment. And in comparison to Kongfrontation, USH's Kong is lacking pretty much everything except Kong himself.
