Universal Hollywood VIP Experience

Hello,

Does anyone know how long the tour part of the VIP experience is at Universal Studios in California? We are thinking of doing it, but I am reading that the tour can be between 4 and 6 hours before you even start riding rides. That would be a long day for younger kids.

We did this last August and I believe we had an arrival time about 8:30 and our tour was over around 3:30, we definitely did not have hours before riding. We got there had a little breakfast and then did the backlot tour first and then moved onto other rides with a break for lunch. Overall we had a really good time.
